Azerbaijan's monetary base surged by over 3% in May

As of June 1, 2026, Azerbaijan's monetary base stood at just under 24.106 billion manats (approximately $14.2 billion), Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
According to the latest data, this represents a 3.4% increase compared to May 1.
During the reporting period, the monetary base grew by 7.3% compared to the beginning of the year and rose by 16.85% year-on-year.
