Azerbaijan's five social reform packages exceed 8B manats

The total value of the five social reform packages implemented in Azerbaijan since 2019 has surpassed 8 billion manats ($4.7 billion), MP Musa Guliyev said during the Milli Majlis plenary session, as lawmakers reviewed the draft budgets of the State Social Protection Fund and the Unemployment Insurance Fund for 2026, Report informs.
Guliyev noted that President Ilham Aliyev approved the fifth social reform package for 2025 on December 23, 2024. This year, the minimum monthly wage increased by 16%, and the minimum pension rose by 14.3%, improving the social welfare of more than 3 million citizens.
According to the MP, a total of 4 million people have benefited from the social reform packages carried out since 2019.
