Azerbaijan’s Central Bank, IFC mull development of green economy

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) have discussed strategic priorities for the transition to the green economy, CBA Chairman Taleh Kazimov wrote on X, Report informs.
"We had a productive meeting with the delegation led by Ines Rocha, the Regional Director of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) for Europe.
During the meeting, we discussed strategic priorities for the transition to a green economy in our country, initiatives aimed at developing the necessary infrastructure, and key issues on the Central Bank's agenda regarding sustainable finance.
We also exchanged views on matters of mutual interest and explored potential areas for cooperation between our institutions,” reads the post.
