Azerbaijan’s Central Bank exempt from paying taxes for several services

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) will be exempt from taxes for a number of services related to the performance of its duties provided for by law, Report informs referring to the draft law on amendments to the Tax Code.
According to the document, these services include maintenance of treasury equipment, production, transportation, insurance and audit of the production of banknotes, their examination, services for the storage and management of international gold and foreign exchange reserves, support of information systems, as well as consulting services related to the implementation of goals and functions of the institution.
