Azerbaijan doubles cost of importing fertilizers

In January 2023, Azerbaijan imported fertilizers worth $4.922 million, up 2.1 times from the same period last year.

Report informs citing the State Customs Committee that the value of exports of fertilizers from Azerbaijan for the reporting period amounted to $9.455 million, which is 35.7% more than a year ago.

In the first month of this year, the import costs of fertilizer made up 0.35% of the total import costs of Azerbaijan, and the export revenues constituted 0.5% of the total export revenues.
