Azerbaijan and Türkiye discuss digitalization of investment funds

Azerbaijan and Türkiye discussed the development of digital infrastructure for investment funds, Report informs, citing the National Depository Center of Azerbaijan (NDC).

Chairman of the Management Board of NDC Elchin Alizada held a meeting with representatives of Turkish financial institutions visiting Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, officials of "Kuveyt Türk Portföy Yönetimi", "Katılım Emeklilik Hayat" and "Türkiye Katılım Sigorta" joint-stock companies were provided with detailed information about the role, activities, and development strategy of NDC in Azerbaijan's capital market ecosystem.

The Turkish delegation presented the country's experience in the field of investment funds and discussed future mutual cooperation prospects in this direction. An exchange of views was held between the parties on experience sharing in investment funds, development of digital infrastructure, cooperation opportunities in portfolio management, and technical support issues.

During the meeting, the importance of establishing long-term and sustainable cooperation ties and evaluating new market opportunities on the basis of mutual benefit was also particularly emphasized.
