Average monthly salary in Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan exceeds AZN 812

In January-June of 2025, the gross domestic product (GDP) in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan grew by 4.5% to reach 759.9 million manats (almost $447 million), Report informs, citing the Chamber of Accounts.

For 6 months, 540 new jobs were created in the region. As a result of state programs implemented to improve the living standards of the population, the average monthly salary in the autonomous republic also increased by 5.9% to 812.1 manats ($477.71).

According to the chamber's data, the expansion of employment opportunities and strengthening of administrative measures have also had a positive impact on the growth of local revenues.
