Volume of oil pumped through BTC Turkish section up over 6%

A total of 74.14 million barrels of oil were pumped through the Turkish section of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline in January-April of this year, Report informs, citing the Turkish operator BOTAS.
According to the data, this is 4.427 million barrels or 6.35% more than in the same period in 2022.
A total of 19.329 million barrels of oil were pumped through the Turkish section of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline in April of this year, 394,000 barrels or 2.08% more than in the same period in 2022.
The BTC pipeline currently carries mainly oil from Azerbaijan from the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) block and condensate from the Shah Deniz field. In addition, other volumes of crude oil and condensate, including oil from Turkmenistan, Russia, and Kazakhstan, are transported through the BTC.
