Volume of Azerbaijan's proven oil and gas reserves announced

By the end of 2020, Azerbaijan's proven oil reserves amounted to 7 billion barrels or 1 billion tons.
According to BP's Statistical Review of World Energy, this volume is the same as at the end of 2019.
Thus, at the end of 2000, the country's oil reserves made up 1.2 billion barrels.
By the end of 2020, Azerbaijan's proven gas reserves were 2.5 trillion cubic meters.
BP's Statistical Review shows that it is the same as the previous year. At the end of 2000, this figure was 1 trillion cubic meters.
