Uzbekneftegaz employees familiarize themselves with SOCAR's risk management system

A group of employees from the Uzbek company Uzbekneftegaz has visited Baku as part of a memorandum of cooperation with the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) on personnel training, Report informs referring to Uzbekneftegaz.

During an internship on risk management in the oil and gas business, specialists from the Financial and Compliance Control Department were introduced to SOCAR's risk management and financial control system for the first time.

They also participated in meetings and training sessions on process safety and compliance control, and shared professional experiences with colleagues.

Following the internship, further improvement of risk management processes at Uzbekneftegaz and the gradual implementation of international practices are planned.

"Cooperation between the companies not only contributes to the professional development of personnel but also to the bilateral exchange of experience and the strengthening of ties between the organizations," the company stated.
