TANAP transports 1.3 bcm of gas this year

In January-April 2020, 3.5 billion cubic meters of gas has been transported to Turkey, up 23.6% from the previous year, Report informs, citing Energy Ministry.
Of this, 1.3 billion cubic meters was transported via TANAP. Over 5.1 billion cubic meters of Azerbaijani gas was delivered through this pipeline from the date of launch to May 1, 2020.
Shah Deniz gas is exported to Turkey via Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum and TANAP. The Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum pipeline transported the first gas to Turkey in 2007. TANAP started the first transportation of commercial gas to Turkey on June 30, 2018.
