STAR refinery cuts jet fuel production

In February of this year, the STAR refinery (NEZ), an asset of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Türkiye, produced more than 100,420 tons (-2,114 tons or 2.06%) of kerosene fuel (aviation fuel) for jet engines, Report informs, citing the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA).

During January-February 2023, the STAR refinery produced about 145,244 tons (-2,105 tons or 1.43%) of kerosene fuel for jet engines (aviation fuel).

Oil refineries in Türkiye produced 382,404 tons (-76,407 tons or 25 %) of kerosene fuel (aviation fuel) for jet engines in February of this year.

A total of 754,134 tons of kerosene fuel (aviation fuel) for jet engines were produced at oil refineries in Türkiye in the first two months of this year, which is 82,084 tons or 12.2% more than in January-February 2022.
