SOCAR seeks to achieve zero emissions of associated gas

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) plans to reach zero emissions of associated gases in production by the end of this year, SOCAR Vice President for Ecology Rafiga Huseynzada said on the second day of the Baku Energy Forum.
According to her, this figure was 2% in 2021.
Huseynzada also noted that SOCAR is actively working on decarbonization, energy efficiency, associated gas collection, and other environmental issues.
