SOCAR’s oil production this year reaches 3.2 million tons

In January-May 2023, 12.7 million tons of oil (including condensate) were produced in Azerbaijan, 1.2 million tons or 8.6% less than in the same months of 2022, Report informs, citing Energy Ministry.
Of this, 7.7 million tons were extracted from the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli block of fields, 1.8 million tons of condensate from Shah Deniz, respectively, down 1.1 million tons or 12.5%, and 0.1 million tons or 5.3% from a year earlier.
SOCAR produced 3.2 million tons of oil, the same as in January-May 2022.
