SOCAR actively participates in Baku Energy Week

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) is actively participating in events organized within Baku Energy Week.

Report informs, citing SOCAR, that Baku Energy Week, of which SOCAR is the "principal partner," has gained major recognition as an important platform contributing to energy security, sustainable progress and effective cooperation both in the region and globally.

This year, SOCAR is represented at the Caspian Oil and Gas International Exhibition with a stand designed around the concept "Reliable Partner, Secure Energy Supply."

The stand, developed using the latest technological solutions, features information on SOCAR"s role in ensuring Azerbaijan's energy security, its international presence, innovation and digitalization agenda, as well as its initiatives in sustainable development.

The Power of National Energy section of the stand provides detailed information on fields such as Shah Deniz, Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli, Oil Rocks, Bulla Deniz, Absheron and Umid, as well as the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery, the Southern Gas Corridor, the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan, Baku-Supsa and Baku-Novorossiysk pipelines, the Igdir-Nakhchivan gas pipeline, the Nakhchivan New Thermal Power Plant and renewable energy projects.

In the "Innovation, Digitalization and Global Operations" section, visitors can learn about the company's achievements in digital transformation, SOCAR Carbamide, Petkim, STAR and Italiana Petroli, as well as international projects such as Tamar, Baleine, Ustyurt and others, and SOCAR"s network of filling stations.

The "Sustainable Future and Environmental Protection" section presents information on Baku Higher Oil School, the Caspian Training and Certification Center, cooperation with foreign universities, research and development initiatives, other projects focused on human capital, as well as geothermal energy and methane emissions reduction projects.

SOCAR is also closely involved in the work of the Baku Energy Forum, where active discussions are being held on various areas of the energy sector.
