Petkim’s total sales increase to 19.2M liras

Petkim, one of the assets of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Turkey, has released its financial results for the third quarter of 2021, Report informs, citing SOCAR.
Despite increased costs and reduced profitability of petrochemical products, Petkim increased its total sales in 9 months to 19.165 million Turkish lira.
The success was influenced by the production of a wide range of Petkim products.
SOCAR Turkey Enerji (a subsidiary of SOCAR in Turkey) owns a controlling stake in Petkim Petrokimya Holding. Founded on April 3, 1965, Petkim is Turkey’s leading petrochemical complex. The complex produces ethylene, polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, polypropylene and other petrochemical products that are used in the production of plastics, textiles, as well as other consumer and industrial goods.
Petkim shares are listed on the Istanbul Stock Exchange.
