The gas prices in European markets have surpassed the record $550 level for 1,000 cubic meters.
Report informs, citing RIA Novosti, that though the prices for September futures were at $540 at the start of the trading, the figures further rose to $553.
The gas prices in spot markets keep rising, too, with the prices for futures at $517 a day earlier.
The record renewal was driven by the accident at Gazprom's plant.
