Gas prices in Europe grow 5.3%

Gas prices in Europe at the opening of exchange trading on December 14 increased by 5.3%, amounting to over $1,400 per 1,000 cubic meters for the first time since the beginning of October, Report informs referring to the data of the London stock exchange ICE.
Gas prices on the Dutch TTF index on the ICE Futures platform at the opening of the trading session were $1,405, then increased to $1,425.5, which is 5% higher than the calculated price the day before ($1,356.3).
The prices of January gas futures in Europe continue to rise. At the end of last week, they have consolidated at a level above $1,200 per 1,000 cubic meters.
