Croatia cuts oil imports from Azerbaijan by over 8%

In January-August of 2025, Azerbaijan exported just over 919,870 tons of crude oil to Croatia, valued at $497.44 million, Report informs, referring to Azerbaijan's State Customs Committee.

Compared to the same period in 2024, the export volume decreased by 8.5%, while the value dropped by 20.7%.

Crude oil exports to Croatia accounted for 5.78% of Azerbaijan"s total oil exports during this period.

According to the customs declarations, Azerbaijan exported more than 15.924 million tons of crude oil and related products obtained from bituminous rocks, valued at just over $8.396 billion in the initial eight months of 2025.

Overall, Azerbaijan conducted foreign trade operations worth $32.118 billion in the first eight months of 2025. Of this, $17.065 billion came from exports and $15.053 billion from imports.
