BTC oil transportation through Turkiye up about 24%

In October 2022, the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline transported 20.749 million barrels of oil through Turkiye, up 3.99 million barrels or 23.8% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the Turkish pipeline operator BOTAS.
In January-October 2022, the BTC pipeline pumped 185.128 million barrels of oil through Turkiye, a rise of 20.17 million barrels or 12.2% from the ten months of 2021.
The BTC pipeline mainly carries oil from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) block of fields and condensate from Shah Deniz. Moreover, other crude oil and condensate volumes, including oil from Turkmenistan, Russia, and Kazakhstan, are transported through the BTC.
