AzerEnerji, World Bank review progress on AZURE project

AzerEnerji, the largest electrical power producer in Azerbaijan, and the World Bank have discussed the overall progress of the Azerbaijan Renewable Energy Integration (AZURE) project aimed at integrating renewable energy sources into the national power grid.
The discussions took place during a meeting between AzerEnerji Chairman Baba Rzayev and a World Bank delegation led by Regional Director for the South Caucasus Rolande Pryce, the state-owned utility said.
The parties reviewed the current status of the project's components, upcoming activities, and opportunities for expanding cooperation.
They also exchanged views on the integration of large-scale renewable energy projects into Azerbaijan's electricity grid and discussed the future prospects for cooperation in the country's renewable energy sector.
