Azerbaijan starts exporting lubricants to four more countries

In 2021, Azerbaijan exported 28,144.45 tons (+54.6%) of lubricating oils worth $25.013 million (+2.5 times).

According to Report's calculations, based on the data of the State Statistics Committee, 14,367.39 tons (+71.9%) worth $ 12.046 million (+2.7 times) were supplied to Turkey, 8,665.84 tons (+66.7%) worth $ 7.102 million (+4.1 times) to Ukraine, 706.54 tons (+56%) worth $ 1.195 million (+2 times) to Lebanon, 787.98 tons (+28.5%) worth $ 988,880 (-26.7%) to Iraq, and 539.64 tons (+28.2%) worth $ 705,490 (+91.1%) to Moldova.

After one year and 10 months, supplies to Israel have been restored. Last year, for the first time in 10 years, lubricants were exported to Palestine, Italy, Libya, and New Zealand.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 40,330.88 tons of lubricants worth $ 87.06 million, which is 4.9% and 32.7% more than in 2020, respectively.

Azerbaijan imported 8,336.36 tons (+12%) of lubricating oil worth $ 20,070 million (+30.43%) from Turkey, 12,517.02 tons (-28.5%) worth $ 18.705 million (+24.1%) from Russia, 4,891.68 tons (+18%) worth $ 17.480 million (+29%) from Germany, 1,888.02 tons (+33.6%) worth $ 5.549 million (+37.6%) from Belgium, and 1,687.6 tons (+22.1%) worth $ 3.068 million (+53.4%) from Ukraine.

Last year, supplies were restored from Malaysia after a 6-year hiatus, from Slovenia after a 5-year break, from Ireland and Turkmenistan after 2 years and 9 months, from Mexico after 2 years and 7 months, from Uzbekistan after 2 years and 4 months, and from Portugal after 1 year and 9 months.

Last year, for the first time in 10 years, Azerbaijan bought lubricants from Costa Rica.
