Azerbaijan's revenues from polyethylene exports up by 64%

From January through March 2021, Azerbaijan, according to customs declarations, exported 33,747 tons of polyethylene in primary forms worth $35.142 million, Report informs, citing the country’s State Customs.
According to the committee, the amount of the export is 2,736 tons, or 8.8% more, compared to the same period last year.
Meanwhile, the monetary value of the polyethylene exports also increased by $13.649 million, or 63.5%.
In the first quarter of 2021, the share of polyethylene in the exports of Azerbaijan’s non-oil sector was 7%, while its share in the total export volume reached only 0.85%.
