Azerbaijan's gasoline production drops more than 35%

In January-February 2021, Azerbaijan produced petroleum products worth AZN 504.6 million, which is 17.9% less than a year ago, Report informs, referring to the State Statistical Committee.
During the reporting period, 148,900 tonnes of gasoline, 356,300 tonnes of diesel fuel, 5,200 tonnes of lubricants, 23,300 tonnes of petroleum bitumen were produced.
The gasoline production decreased by 35.3%, lubricants – by 1.9%, petroleum bitumen – by 22.8%, and diesel production – by 4.2%.
During the first two months, the country produced 76,300 tonnes of gasoline for the petrochemical industry (+73%), 65,300 tonnes of kerosene (-34.8%), 4,100 tonnes of tons of fuel oil (-79.4%), and 41,800 tonnes of petroleum coke (+5.8%).
