Azerbaijan boosts gas sales abroad by 40%

In January-March this year, Azerbaijan's gas sales abroad amounted to about 5 billion cubic meters, which is 39.5% higher than a year earlier, Report mentions, citing the Energy Ministry.
In the first three months of this year, 3 billion cubic meters of gas (15.8% more than the same period in 2020) were exported to Turkey, about 1.1 billion cubic meters to Europe, and 784 million cubic meters to Georgia.
During this period, 27 million cubic meters of gas were supplied to the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline system.
