Azerbaijan processes 4 million tons of oil this year

Oil refining in Azerbaijan in the first eight months of 2020 amounted to 4 million tons, Report says, citing Azerbaijan's Energy Ministry.
The figure is 201,000 tons less than in the same period last year.
Notably, oil refining in Azerbaijan is carried out at SOCAR's Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery.
The refinery is processing 21 out of 24 grades of Azerbaijan crude and 15 different petroleum products, including automotive gasoline, aviation kerosene, diesel fuel, black oil, petroleum coke, etc. The plant is meeting the republic's total demand for petroleum products ultimately.
