Over 100 students from 11 countries apply for transfer to universities in Azerbaijan

More than 100 students from 11 countries have applied for transfer to Azerbaijani universities for the 2025/26 academic year, Report informs referring to the State Agency for Science and Higher Education.

The number of rejected applications does not exceed 10% of the total number of applications. The main reasons for refusal are the lack of grounds provided for by law and poor academic performance.

It is emphasized that persons admitted to foreign universities on the basis of a certificate, according to the current rules, cannot be transferred to higher education institutions within the country.

The Ministry of Science and Education said that the results of appeals regarding student transfers will be presented to the public as soon as they are ready.
