Curricula in Azerbaijani universities must be urgently updated, Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev stated at the INMerge Innovation Summit 2025 in Baku, organized by PASHA Holding, Report informs.
The minister noted that current academic programs are often based on outdated knowledge: "Teachers frequently pass on the experiences of the past to future generations. In other words, content developed from knowledge that is 30 years old is being projected onto the next 30 years-resulting in a 60-year gap. We must anticipate the future and adapt our educational programs accordingly."
