Azerbaijan plans vocational programs aligned with labor market needs

Azerbaijan plans to develop vocational education programs aligned with the labor market needs of the country's priority economic sectors.
According to Report, the initiative is included in the 2026-2030 Action Plan for the Implementation of the Employment Strategy, approved by President Ilham Aliyev.
The document states that the initial objective is to identify opportunities to align international certification programs in relevant specialties with existing vocational education programs in line with labor market demands.
The implementation of the program has been assigned to the Ministry of Science and Education.
