UK's Dawn news portal has published an article dedicated to the disaster of the Okhchuchay river.
Report informs, citing Azertag, that the article is about the pollution of the Okhchuchay river, which flows through Azerbaijan's de-occupied Zangilan region, into the Araz river, with the industrial wastes from a plant functioning in Armenia.
"The Okhchuchay River, heading from Armenia to flow through the territories of Azerbaijan, got polluted with industrial wastes so badly that it has become unsuitable for irrigation purposes; moreover, all fish in the river have gone extinct," the article reads.
According to it, given the water quality in the river, its use for domestic and agricultural needs can lead to extremely negative impacts.
