Preliminary list of usable beaches in Azerbaijan announced

In connection with the beginning of the beach season, the Caspian Complex Environmental Monitoring Department and the Republican Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology took samples of seawater in the beach areas and conducted microbiological and physical-chemical analyses.

Nazim Mahmudov, head of the department, told Report that according to the results of joint monitoring and analysis, seawater quality on the beaches of Bilgah, Novkhani, Mardakan, Shuvalan, Goradil, Zagulba, Nardaran, and Buzovna was determined within the norm: "Currently, laboratory tests are being carried out on samples taken from seawater in other beaches of the Caspian Sea."
