President of Kazakhstan awards two Azerbaijanis

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has awarded Azerbaijani social activist Taghi Taghiyev and Elmir Shakhsuvarov, a member of the Association of Azerbaijanis of the Mangystau Region and a diaspora activist, Report informs.

Taghiyev was awarded the Person of the Year title for his charitable work in Kazakhstan.

Shakhsuvarov was awarded the Zhomart Zhan badge of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan for his contribution to the development of art and charity in Kazakhstan.

Taghi Taghiyev is the son of Honored Artist of Azerbaijan and actor Ziraddin Taghiyev.
