Azerbaijan joins Metre Convention

Azerbaijan has joined the Metre Convention, an international agreement that laid the foundations for the global standardization of measurement units.
According to Report, President Ilham Aliyev signed the relevant law.
The Metre Convention was signed on May 20, 1875, in Paris by representatives of 17 countries. The document aims to ensure international uniformity in measurements and is considered one of the key agreements underpinning global standardization.
