Jumayev: Azerbaijan takes a sensitive approach to restoring monuments in Karabakh

Azerbaijan"s approach to restoring historical and cultural monuments in the liberated territories is truly exemplary, Farrukh Jumayev, Head of the International Relations Department at the Ministry of Culture, said during the panel discussion "The OTS Policy in the Sphere of Culture, Science, and Parliamentarism in an Era of Global Uncertainty" held in Baku.

"The country takes a very sensitive approach to the restoration of historical, cultural, and religious monuments. This is clear proof that we deeply value our cultural heritage and history," Jumayev said.

He emphasized that relations among Turkic states are rooted in cultural ties.

"President Ilham Aliyev attaches particular importance to promoting initiatives based on deep cultural cooperation within the OTS framework. In this respect, we have established close collaboration with several organizations representing the Turkic states," the Culture Ministry official added.
