Azerbaijan, World Heritage Centre discuss cooperation

Director of the UNESCO World Heritage Centre Lazare Eloundou Assomo, who is attending the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, met with Azerbaijani Deputy Ministers of Culture Farid Jafarov and Saadat Yusifova.

Report was informed by the Ministry of Culture that, during the conversation, the importance of Azerbaijan's hosting of such a prestigious international event as WUF13 was noted.

It was stated that modern urban planning solutions are being widely used in Azerbaijan, especially in its liberated territories.

Lazare Eloundou Assomo said the event is organized at a high level and congratulated the Azerbaijani side.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on developing cooperation between Azerbaijan and the World Heritage Centre.
