Azerbaijan, Georgia discuss expanding cultural cooperation

Azerbaijan's Minister of Culture Adil Karimli has met with a Georgian delegation led by First Deputy Minister of Culture Giorgi Mirtskhulava during the delegation's visit to Azerbaijan, Report informs.
According to Azerbaijan's Ministry of Culture, Karimli said relations between the two countries continue to develop across all sectors, noting that the efforts of the two countries' leaders have elevated bilateral ties to the level of a strategic partnership.
He added that this strong relationship creates broad opportunities for expanding cooperation in the cultural sphere and highlighted the notable progress achieved in recent years, particularly in theater and cinema.
Mirtskhulava thanked Karimli for the warm welcome and conveyed greetings from Georgia's Minister of Culture Tinatin Rukhadze. He reaffirmed Georgia's interest in further developing cultural and humanitarian cooperation with Azerbaijan.
The meeting also included discussions on deepening bilateral cultural cooperation. The Georgian delegation is visiting Baku to participate in the third meeting of the joint working group established between the culture ministries of Azerbaijan and Georgia.
