INMerge investment forum held in Baku

The global INMerge Investment Forum, organized by PASHA Holding LLC in cooperation with the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ), was held in Baku on September 28.

According to Report, the event brought together leaders in private capital and established a new platform for cross-border investment dialogue between Central Eurasia and the Middle East.

The forum was attended by more than 160 delegates representing over 90 organizations from 18 countries, with a total of $4 trillion in assets under management (AUM). Among the participants were leading limited partners, general partners, as well as policymakers from the South Caucasus and Central Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), and Southeast Asia.

The aim of the forum was to strengthen the region"s role in the global private capital market.

Key topics on the agenda included: "The Role of Central Eurasia in Global Investment Trends", "The Transformation of the Limited Partner Mandate – From Traditional Assets to Alternatives", and "Lessons Learned from Building a High-Performing Fund."

Partners of the forum included the Azerbaijan Investment Holding, the Islamic Development Bank, PASHA Investments, and Tenity.

The forum laid the foundation for positioning Baku as a leading venue for investment events. In this context, further expansion of the forum is planned in the future.
