Former Afghan minister starts work as delivery man in Germany

Former Afghan communications minister Sayed Ahmad Shah Saadat has become a driver for the Lieferando delivery service in Leipzig, Report informs referring to Izvestia newspaper.
According to the Leipziger Volkszeitung, since 2018, Saadat has been a member of the Cabinet of Ministers under ex-President Ashraf Ghani. He was responsible for expanding the mobile network for the rural population.
In 2020, the Ghani government forced him to resign after refusing to transfer funding to the government’s anti-Taliban strategy. As a result, the ex-minister moved to Germany.
