Azerbaijan-UK trade shrinks sharply in first quarter

Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom totaled $60.122 million in January-March 2026, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.
The figure was down 81.4% from the same period last year.
Azerbaijan's exports to the UK fell 98.5% year-on-year to $1.099 million, while imports from the UK dropped 76.2% to $59.022 million.
Trade with the UK accounted for 0.6% of Azerbaijan's total trade turnover in the reporting period. Exports to the UK made up 0.02% of total exports, while imports from the UK accounted for 1.4% of total imports.
