Azerbaijan to present 3‑year strategy to promote women's entrepreneurship

Azerbaijan will present a three‑year strategic plan aimed at developing women's entrepreneurship at the meeting with EU Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos, the Chairperson of the Board of the Azerbaijan Women's Entrepreneurship Development Association, Sakina Babayeva, told Report.
According to Babayeva, the plan will focus on strengthening women's entrepreneurship, improving psychological resilience in business, creating new jobs, and supporting innovative business initiatives.
"Main topics to be discussed during the meeting will include the economic empowerment of women entrepreneurs and prospects for international cooperation. We will highlight both recent achievements and existing challenges. The role of women in economic life, their opportunities to participate in business, and paths for development will be central," she said. Additionally, the strategy will address enhancing women's roles in the economy within the European countries and the UN framework, supporting migrant women and their participation in projects, and showcasing the role of Azerbaijani women on the world stage.
