Azerbaijan starts importing quince from Russia and Uzbekistan

In 2023, Azerbaijan imported 53.4 tons (+12%) of quince worth $54,100 (+62%), Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan received 41.55 tons of quince worth $43,000 from Russia, 4.7 tons worth $6,150 from Uzbekistan, and 7 tons (-85%) worth $5,000 from Türkiye (+85%).
Last year, for the first time in the past 13 years (note: official statistics on foreign trade are publicly available as of 2011), supplies were made from Uzbekistan and Russia.
