Azerbaijan soars import of cars by 86%

Baku. 14 November. REPORT.AZ/ In January-October, Azerbaijan has imported 8 102 units of cars for various purposes.

Report informs referring to State Customs Committee (SCC), this is 86,3% more than in the same period in 2016.

According to information, import of motor vehicles for transportation of 10 persons or more, including driver, increased by 97,3% and made 148 units, cars for passenger transportation and for special purposes increased by 88% and made 7 098 units.

Import of trucks increased by 89.7% and reached 795 while special-purpose motor vehicles decreased by 23,8% and made 61.
