Azerbaijan sharply increases coffee purchases from Brazil

Azerbaijan imported 200 tons of coffee (+69%) worth $1.85 million (+70%) in January-May of this year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
Azerbaijan received 41.5 tons (+35%) worth $572,000 (+38%) from Italy, 71 tons (+6 times) worth $373,000 (+5 times) from Brazil, 36 tons (+33%) worth $319,000 (+66%) from Türkiye, 9 tons (+2 times) worth $102,200 (+89%) from the Netherlands,and 5.7 tons (+44%) worth $91,000 (+60%) from the United Arab Emirates.
Of the 405 tons of coffee imported to Azerbaijan (from 42 countries) in 2022, 24.7% wwas supplied from Italy, 23% from Türkiye, and 18% from Brazil.
