Azerbaijan’s trade turnover with CIS countries decreases by 20%

In January 2024, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and the CIS countries made up $ 421,679,000, down 19.5% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.
During the reporting period, the share of the CIS countries in the total export of Azerbaijan was 5.46%, while the share in the total import was 28.11%.
The trade turnover with Russia made up $264,800,000 (-21.3%), Belarus - $50,344,000 (+2.2 times), Ukraine - $34,677,000 (+4.1%), Turkmenistan - $33,748,000 (-49.6%), Kazakhstan - $17,441,000 (-63.7%), Uzbekistan - $12,882,000 (+13.9%), Kyrgyzstan - $7,162,000 (+4.4 times), Moldova - $527,000 (+1.5%), and Tajikistan - $89,000 (+101 times).
