Azerbaijan's foreign trade surplus more than doubles

In January-October 2021, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations with foreign countries in the amount of $26,182,700.
This is 24.7% more than in the same period last year, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.
In the first 10 months of this year, in the structure of foreign trade, $16,848.9 billion accounted for exports and $ 9,333.8 billion for imports. Over the past year, exports increased by 37.7% and imports by 6.4%.
Ultimately, foreign trade generated a surplus of $7.515 billion. This is 2.2 times more than a year earlier.
