Azerbaijan, Qatar explore investment and strategic cooperation

Azerbaijan and Qatar have discussed expanding economic cooperation, promoting mutual investments, and partnering in the development of strategic sectors.

According to Report, the meeting took place between Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov and Nasser Al-Abdulla, Director of Corporate Credit at the Qatar Investment Authority, on the sidelines of the first Azerbaijan International Investment Forum (AIIF 2025) in Baku.

The Azerbaijani side provided information on the country's ongoing economic reforms, favorable business climate, and investment opportunities, emphasizing the government's strong commitment to working with foreign investors.

Discussions focused particularly on potential joint projects in infrastructure, financial services, energy, and the non-oil sector.

Both sides agreed that deepening bilateral cooperation would serve the economic interests of both nations.
