Azerbaijan more than doubles exports to Algeria

During January-September 2022, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Algeria amounted to $865,750 (-28.5%), Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.

In 9 months of this year, Azerbaijan's export to Algeria amounted to $19,810 (+2.3 times).

In January-September, the import of Azerbaijan from Algeria amounted to $845,940 (-29.6%).

During nine months (the structure of the export is known for this period), in general, perfumes and other plants used in pharmaceuticals ($6,900), as well as aviation fuel ($12,370), were exported from Azerbaijan to Algeria.

During the first nine months (the structure of the import is known for this period), fresh or dried dates worth $771,180, other inert gases worth $74,220, and men's shirts made of cotton yarn worth $450 were sent from Algeria to Azerbaijan.

In January-September of this year, Azerbaijan carried out trade transactions with foreign countries worth $39.814 billion. Exports accounted for $29.521 billion of the 9-month foreign trade turnover, and imports accounted for $10.293 billion.
