Azerbaijan, Italy discuss prospects for promoting mutual investment

Azerbaijan and Italy have discussed prospects for promoting mutual investment and implementing joint projects aimed at further strengthening economic ties.

According to Report, the discussions took place during a videoconference between Azerbaijan"s Minister of Economy, Mikayil Jabbarov, and Italian Minister for Business and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso.

The meeting focused on expanding cooperation in key sectors such as energy, industry, innovation, and trade, as well as exploring new partnership opportunities.

The parties emphasized that economic relations between the two countries continue to develop steadily within the framework of friendship and strategic partnership.

Italy was noted as one of Azerbaijan"s main trading partners, and satisfaction was expressed with the level of cooperation in the energy sector. Azerbaijan"s attractive investment climate was highlighted as a key factor encouraging the expansion of bilateral partnerships.
