Azerbaijan increases cost of importing vehicle spare parts by 62%

In 2023, Azerbaijan imported vehicles and their parts worth $2,863.1 million (+$1,091.45 million, or 61.6%), Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.

Last year, the import of vehicles and their parts made up 16.6% of the total imports of Azerbaijan.

In 2023, Azerbaijan conducted trade transactions with foreign countries worth $51.2 billion. Exports accounted for $33.9 billion of foreign trade turnover, and imports accounted for $17.3 billion.
