Azerbaijan, Brazil to hold trade talks on September 1

On September 1, Azerbaijan and Brazil will hold a meeting of the Joint Working Group on Trade and Investment Cooperation in Brazil, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Economy.

Discussions regarding the upcoming meeting took place during a meeting between Elnur Aliyev, Azerbaijan"s First Deputy Minister of Economy and co-chair of the Working Group, and Brazil"s Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Manuel Adalberto Carlos Montenegro Lopes da Cruz.

The sides emphasized that mutual visits and signed agreements play a significant role in the development of bilateral relations.

They also highlighted the importance of strengthening trade and investment ties in line with existing potential. Agriculture, transport, education and technology, and tourism were identified as key priority areas for cooperation.

Information was shared about Azerbaijan's favorable business climate and the opportunities available to investors, with Brazilian businesses invited to engage in active cooperation.

Both sides also discussed the development of collaboration across various sectors.
